Why join us

When you join the GMC you’ll be helping to support good, safe patient care across the UK.

We work in lots of different ways, from setting the standards doctors, physician associates (PAs) and anaesthesia associates (AAs) need to meet, and helping them achieve them, to supporting a patient when raising a concern. We also collect evidence from other organisations and bring together our findings to help improve healthcare policy.
