The General Medical Council (GMC) has an opportunity currently available for a talented Registration Team Coordinator within our Registration Investigation team. In this role at the GMC you will enjoy plenty of variety in working with doctors and health professionals and make a positive impact protecting patients.

 As a Registration Investigation Team Coordinator, you will be responsible for effective co-ordination of a team of Registration Investigation Advisers and take appropriate action in case management. The successful candidate will provide a high level of supervision and support to the team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to doctors and stakeholders.

You’ll need excellent planning and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and excellent prioritisation skills. As a confident communicator, you’ll be able to manage and motivate a team, and should have the ability to build strong relationships with people face-to-face and by phone and email. You should also be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, being proactive and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Due to Covid 19, the successful applicant will commence working from home with a supportive induction package, with a plan to return to an office based role at a later date. As with our usual arrangements we will be able to offer up to two working from home days per week once we have returned to the office.
