Trainee accountant

The General Medical Council (GMC) is seeking to appoint a self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious Trainee Accountant to support the Management Accounts team, whilst undertaking study towards a professional accountancy qualification. The qualification will provide the full range of skills and competencies required for a successful finance career. Study support will be provided.

The GMC helps to protect patients and improve medical education and practice in the UK by setting standards for students and doctors. We support them in achieving (and exceeding) those standards, and take action when they are not met.

In return, you’ll benefit from being part of an organisation that is genuinely committed to its people. This role can be a great stepping stone into a rewarding career path. We also offer an attractive salary and benefits package, and may be able to offer flexible working hours and home working.

The GMC values diversity and has made a public commitment to processes and procedures that are fair, objective, transparent and free from discrimination.
