Communication Projects Coordinator (fixed term until 16 July 2019) (GMC3236)

Communication Projects Coordinator (fixed term until 16 July 2019)

This role offers a great opportunity to work in the Marketing Communications team on projects that are a priority for the organisation. It’s a challenging and varied role which requires excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, and which will see you develop collaborative relationships with many teams across the business.

The General Medical Council (GMC) helps to protect patients and improve medical education and practice in the UK by setting standards for students and doctors. We support them in achieving (and exceeding) those standards, and take action when they are not met.

As Communication Projects Coordinator, you will be involved in supporting the development and delivery of several communication-focused projects at the GMC, as well as directly contributing to the success of our Transformation Programme.

You’ll need experience of coordinating meetings, agendas and communications in a fast moving environment, preferably in a marketing communications or digital setting. You will demonstrate strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage your time and balance different priorities. The ability to communicate clearly, accurately and succinctly is key, together with well-developed internal/external customer service skills.

In return, you’ll benefit from being part of an organisation that is genuinely committed to its people. This role can be a great stepping stone into a rewarding career path. We also offer an attractive salary and benefits package, and may be able to offer flexible working hours and home working.

The GMC values diversity and has made a public commitment to processes and procedures that are fair, objective, transparent and free from discrimination.

The GMC is a charity registered in England and Wales (1089278) and Scotland (SC037750).
