Senior Tester

We’ve created this new lead role within our web team for a talented senior tester who can head up testing. Enjoying the freedom to shape agile test approaches and innovative new testing practices, you’ll help to provide brilliant digital experiences and impact on exciting projects beyond web. 

 With experience of leading testing and helping to deliver a variety of projects in an agile software testing environment, you’ll help to create innovative websites and mobile applications that connect with doctors, patients and employers. As part of our agile scrum team, you’ll follow respected rituals and processes across fully responsive websites, mobile applications and automation.

Working with our Test Manager, your role will involve defining acceptance criteria, creating test approaches and sharing best practice. Shaping high quality products and continuous delivery methods at the heart of our development process, you’ll move at pace in an agile culture that values defect prevention, fast feedback and frequent low risk releases. Your expertise will also enable you to develop automation test suites, maintain testing standards, perform short exploratory testing sessions and investigate and resolve issues.

Looking to make a step up or put your lead testing experience to good use, you must be able to build strong relationships and collaborate with people across our organisation. Passionate about testing and best practice, you should have a good understanding of web development, testing practices and both manual and automated testing. As well as the ability to base acceptance criteria around user stories, you’ll also need a can-do approach, an analytical eye to cut through problems and ideally knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, .Net and C Sharp.
