Working with doctors, working for patients

Patient Liaison Officer

The General Medical Council (GMC) helps to protect patients and improve medical education and practice in the UK by setting standards for students and doctors. We support them in achieving (and exceeding) those standards, and take action when they are not met.

We have a great opportunity to join the GMC as a Patient Liaison Officer to deliver effective meetings with complainants across the UK to improve the level of engagement and efficiency in the handling of complaints and concerns. The aim of the Patient and Doctor Liaison Service is to work better together to improve our overall effectiveness, our responsiveness and the delivery of our regulatory functions.

The GMC values diversity and has made a public commitment to processes and procedures that are fair, objective, transparent and free from discrimination. The GMC is a charity registered in England and Wales (1089278) and Scotland (SC037750).
