Working with doctors, working for patients

Operational Support Analyst

Operational Support Analyst

With your organisational and project expertise, you’ll play a key role in business change at the organisation that's at the heart of patient safety.

The General Medical Council (GMC) helps to protect patients and improve medical education and practice in the UK by setting standards for students and doctors. We support them in achieving (and exceeding) those standards, and take action when they are not met.

As Siebel Operational Analyst, you’ll administer our current system and deploy further upgrades. This is a highly collaborative role in which your ability to connect with other people will make all the difference. As a key point of contact for operational, enterprise systems and business transformation teams, you’ll contribute to everything from training materials, to testing schedules, to system queries. Operational users and external customers will rely on your for expert first-level support for Siebel and all related systems. Crucially, you will personally develop and deliver Siebel training, and publish guidance and instructions on a wide range of related matters.

Ideally, you will have an excellent general understanding of Siebel or other similar database, together with the ability to administer the system. You’ll certainly have experience of the MS Office suite and a demonstrable aptitude for data manipulation using Excel and Siebel analytics. A good understanding of continuous improvement tools and techniques is also beneficial. From presenting complex information, to developing and delivering training, to answering queries, you have an enthusiastic approach and a flair for clear, concise and persuasive communication - both in person and in writing.

In return, you’ll benefit from being part of an organisation that is genuinely committed to its people. We offer an attractive salary and benefits package.
