Working with doctors, working for patients

Data Analyst x 2

Are you looking for an exciting Data Analyst role that will give you an opportunity to join an organisation which really makes a difference?

The General Medical Council (GMC) helps to protect patients and improve medical education and practice in the UK by setting standards for students and doctors. We support them in achieving (and exceeding) those standards, and take action when they are not met.

We have a great opportunity to join the GMC as a Data Analyst to provide high quality analysis and insight to support our policy development and quality assurance functions, utilising our rich and complex data, to help ensure doctors receive training that meet our standards and that patients receive good quality, safe care.

The role is well suited to a person with very strong numeracy skills and a background in data analysis. Experience working with data visualisation and dashboards will be advantageous, as will experience working in regulation, policy development or quality assurance.

The GMC values diversity and has made a public commitment to processes and procedures that are fair, objective, transparent and free from discrimination. The GMC is a charity registered in England and Wales (1089278) and Scotland (SC037750).
