Project Manager – Equality and Fairness in Medical Education and Training

The General Medical Council is seeking an experienced project manager to help deliver key projects driving equality and fairness within Medical Education.

The GMC helps to protect patients and support doctors in the UK by setting and assuring standards for students and doctors throughout their training and in clinical practice.

In this role you will be required to develop and deliver a variety of work streams aimed at assuring the fairness of training for doctors. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and evaluate action to improve fairness and you also will establish an advisory group to provide independent, expert input to your programme of work.

To be a success in this role you will be a confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of leading projects which deliver cultural and organisational change, ideally within a public sector or regulatory environment. You will also have an understanding of equality and diversity issues including relevant legislation.

In return, you’ll benefit from being part of an organisation that is genuinely committed to its people. We offer an attractive salary and benefits package.
